Prayer reminders don't arrive
Check that notifications for FlySalah are allowed in your phone's settings, and that a Focus or Do Not Disturb mode isn't silencing them. Reminders are scheduled on your phone, so they work in airplane mode once they're set. If notifications are blocked, you can export your prayer times to your calendar instead.
I bought FlySalah Pro on another phone
You keep it. On the new phone, open the FlySalah Pro screen and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with. On iPhone, FlySalah Pro can also be shared with your family through Family Sharing.
The time in the app is different from the ground
That's expected. FlySalah works out each prayer for where the plane will be, not for the city below or the airport you left. At cruising height Maghrib usually comes 15–20 minutes later than on the ground. Tap any prayer and choose "Why this time?" to see how it was worked out. You can switch the altitude correction off in Settings.
Joining the Android beta
FlySalah for Android and Wear OS is in testing on Google Play. To join, email hello@flysalah.com with the Google account you use on Google Play, and we'll send you a link to install it.
Deleting your data
Your trips and settings live only on your phone; deleting the app removes them. To stop anonymous usage counts, go to Settings, then Privacy, and turn off Usage analytics. To delete counts already sent, see the privacy policy.
Was this app called SkySalah?
Yes. FlySalah is the new name. Your trips, settings and FlySalah Pro purchase carry over with the update.
